Brew it the traditional Kashmiri way
Bring freshly drawn ambient water to a rolling boil in a saucepan. Add 1 tsp of tea per cup. Simmer on low heat for 3 – 5 min. Strain into a teapot or cup. Try brewing in a traditional Kashmiri samovar kettle if handy for the tastiest cup. Sweeten your tea with sugar or honey to enhance the natural flavour. Garnish your cup with a couple of crushed, blanched almonds before pouring. Best served in traditional khosa cups. If sharing, impress guests by serving with your finest china on a decorative tea tray.
