Best Enjoyed
Hot off the stove with the spice fragrance rising to greet you with each sip; though iced tea is an equally tasty treat. Add your desired sweetener to lift the flavour of the spices.
Best Served
Traditional, dainty tea glasses displayed on a decorative tea tray. Pour small amounts of tea at a time, keeping the rest of the tea hot in the teapot, and then just keep the tiny refills flowing
Pairs Well With
Its own delightfully spiced self, or with traditional cookies such as barazek, ma'moul and ka’ak. Bonus tip: it’s also a marvellous accompaniment for your favourite breakfast dishes or sweets.

Brew it the traditional Lebanese way
Bring freshly drawn ambient water to a rolling boil in a stovetop teapot. Add 1 tsp of tea per cup. Boil covered for 1 min. Remove from heat. Steep for 2 min. Strain into cup. Sweeten to taste. If sweetening with sugar, add it while the tea is boiling on the stovetop for a greater depth of flavour. Best served in traditional small tea glasses. Delightful with a dash of milk. For an aromatic and romantic twist, try a single drop of rosewater per cup. If sharing, impress guests by serving on a decorative tea tray. Enjoy on its own or with traditional cookies such as ka’ak and ma’moul or a selection of salted pumpkin seeds and mixed nuts.
